Stand By Her

Stand by Her is a compelling book about John W. Anderson and his personal experience with women’s cancers. John went through cancer with four women in his life and is sharing his story, trials and tribulations with us.

John W. Anderson had four women in his life go through breast cancer – his wife, his mom, his sister, and his mom’s best friend. John realized that his experiences and strategies that he developed as a caregiver, which he writes about in STAND BY HER(selected by The Wall Street Journal as one of the best health books of 2009), would be beneficial to all caregivers facing any  life-threatening disease with their loved ones, as well as the medical community treating  those patients. And so John is now sharing his  knowledge and expertise,  as a speaker,  to a wide range of audiences:  corporate wellness programs,  doctors, nurses, medical associations, hospitals, patient advocacy groups, insurance, pharmaceutical, medical supply and biotech companies. John is also speaking about  a new model of patient care that he’s currently developing with a group of doctors called the “doctor/patient/caregiver standard of care.”
